This palatial wood panel is elaborately, deeply carved and pierced with gilded cranes and birds among bamboo and branches. Multiple steps and layers of the carving give this panel a dramatic three dimensional appearance which creates countless possibilities for an interior designer. The very heavy panel appears to be dismantled from it’s originally designed space and shows some slight roughness on the surrounding frame. The inside carving and gilding is good. There are a couple of missing links in the surrounding fence. (pictured)
