This is an oil painting on a small hand shaved beveled oakwood panel. According to an old label on the back of the panel this painting is attributed to Adriaen van Ostade, known as the painter of The Dutch Golden Age. The painting shows peasants smoking and arguing in a tavern. A typical Flemish style frame compliments this art.
