Antique Baroque Church Liturgical Vessel, Open Ciborium, Sanctuary Lamp, Aspersoria.
 
Late 18th century Italian Baroque open Ciborium, Sanctuary lamp or Aspersoria is made in silver plated brass and is decorated with three ormolu winged angel heads. Extensive liturgical use over a few centuries has left some expected bumps and dents on the delicate vessel. The heavy silver plated finishing has preserved this Ciborium very well.
 
Condition is fair. Base is reconnected. Body has some dents. Inset is missing. Nevertheless it is a beautiful and very decorative ecclesiastical piece.
