18th Century Hand Colored Engraving After F. Boucher ca.1760
 
This is an exceptionally fine 18th century engraving with delicate hand coloration. This sweet and charming depiction of a boy catching a chicken in the wheat is after a painting by Francois Boucher (1703-1770). The engraving is in good antique condition with original matting and framing. The back has never been opened and the label clearly reads of a “Paris” origin. Frame has some chips (pictured).
