18th Century Venetian Rococo Polychrome and Gilt Decorated Mirror.
 
The arched original mirror plate within a red lacquered scrolled and arched frame is decorated at the crest with a courting Chinese couple. Gilded ribbons meander pleasingly around the sides. Delicate vines of flowers entwine about the frame. This rare mirror is in fine antique condition. The polychrome shows minor flaking. The original mirror plate has age related oxidation.
