19th C. Lobmeyr  Gold Enameled Emerald Fruit Bowls and Under Plates - Set of 5
 
This late 19th century crystal is by J & L Lobmeyr of Vienna, Austria. All 5 bowls and 5 under plates are hand blown with polished pontils and embellished with elegant, delicate Rococo style relief enameled ornaments and gold rimmed. The hand-painted design is a beautiful scrolling floral motive. Although the bowls are unsigned, which is common, the fine details and workmanship in the enameling indicate the quality of Lobmeyr Glassworks.
The condition is very good with no chips, cracks or repairs. Minimal rubbing to the gold.
