19th Century American School Portrait Oil Painting of a Young Girl. H 19" x 15".
 
Wonderful antique portrait of a charming little girl standing in a warm toned room setting with oriental rug and tapestry wall decoration. She seems to view a pair of small paintings on the wall. This painting is well balanced.  It has fine details and is beautifully executed. Created circa 1890, it is painted in oil on canvas. The canvas is unsigned and housed in it’s original ornate giltwood frame. Excellent condition, virtually untouched. Stretcher with 1885 patented metal corners.
