19th Century Baroque Revival Carved Wooden Blanket Chest.
 
Elaborately carved wood chest in superb quality. Floral motif in relief on all sides. The top is adorned with the same floral elements. Artfully carved lion paws on all four corners. The inside has a fitted removable tray with brass handles. The detailed carvings prove the chest is made of the highest quality. It originates probably from Austria.
 
Condition: very good. One toe of the lion paws is missing.
