This is a fine bronze bust of the Emperor Napoleon I (1769-1821) of France. 
 
It depicts a young Napoleon Bonaparte in uniform casted on an integral round base. Mounted on a marble plinth, it represent an impressive and patriotic piece of art. The artist shows the model of the counsel uniform of a double breasted jacket with wide buttoned down collar. The bust reflects the great talent of the sculptor and his love to detail. The casting is very fine and the bronze has a rich dark brown patina. 
 
Condition: Good. Minimal rubs on one cheek. Small flake on the plinth.
