19th Century Diminutive French Provincial Child’s Chest of Drawers
This child’s Baroque style French country chest of drawers has a finely serpentine façade that has two spacious and deep drawers which make it an elegant diminutive piece that is also functional furniture. This chest of drawers was hand- crafted of solid fruitwood in the late 19th century and made to last for centuries. Beautifully carved elements include a shaped apron and cabriole legs. The top shines with a warm and beautiful fruitwood grain. The commode carries the patina of 150 years. Intricately cast bronze handles in the Rococo style set off this elegant and charming little chest of drawers.
