19th Century Dutch Marquetry Cylindrical Column Cabinet.
 
Dating from around 1880, this is an exceptionally fine and rare antique Dutch marquetry column cabinet. The cylindrical case is fitted with a single hinged door, opening to an inlaid demi-shelved interior. The cabinet is lavishly decorated with exquisite hand cut marquetry inlay of floral images, butterflies and urns. This stunning piece represents an example of marquetry as decorative artistry and antique Dutch cabinetry at its finest. The cabinet is in good condition.
