19th Century English Bamboo Side Cabinet.
 
This charming bamboo side cabinet is finely tailored and beautifully proportioned It is fashioned with a classic “tortoise” like burned finish. The wonderfully elaborate lightweight furniture is exquisitely made. It is capped with a marble top and has two unique decorative black and white floral tiles in the back. The case is fitted with a cabinet like base with two shelf storage and finished with grass cloth. The top is complete with a tilting mirror.
 
Condition: Good.  Wear is commensurate with age and use.  The grass cloth on the sides is buckling in spots (see photos) and the marble top is lightly scratched.
