This is a beautiful hand carved and gilded mirror frame. It is a dramatic wall hanging with a stunning depth of more than 3 inches. The circa 1880 Baroque style frame was created in Florence, Italy. The gilt is original to the period and has consequently achieved a patina. There was some regilding done. This decorative antique frame would make a splendid addition to any room. 
 
Condition: Some small missing gold flakes are noticed. Wear commensurate with age and use. Mirror added at a later date.
