Impressive 19th century gilt brass church reliquary monstrance. Crafted in France, circa 1850, this beautiful golden reliquary is adorned with a glowing sunburst. It is surmounted with a centrally placed cross. The circular host
container is decorated with a wheat design, a symbol of charity. It rests on a base with a standing winged angel. The ornamented pedestal displayseucharistic symbols.
Good antique condition. Closing pin at the host container is missing. Wear commensurate with age and use.
