19th century French miniature of Napoleon I after Paul Delaroche in period frame 
 
This is a miniature portrait painting on porcelain from the late 19th century after the painting “Napoleon in His Office” by the artist Paul Delaroche. This Fine miniature is housed in the original wood frame with gilded embellishment of a crown and Bourbon Lily. The quality of the porcelain is excellent and probably made by KPM Berlin. The period frame is made from wood and the symbols of Crown and Bourbon Lily are carved in high relief. 
The wire stand on the back is missing. 
 
Measurements: Miniature H 4 ½” x 3 ½” Frame H 7 ½” x W 6 ½”.
