19th Century Korean Wood Document Brass Hinge Box.
 
An antique Korean wooden document box from the late 19th century. These hand-crafted valuables box, with Manchurian influence, has a strong and beautiful patterned wood grain and extensive decorative and structural cut brass hardware elements. The closure fitting is incised with blossoming embellishments and complete with its’ original locking pin key.  
 
The condition is very good.  Wear due to age and use.
