19th Century Neoclassical Pair Brass Marble Candlestick Table Lamps.
 
Elegant 19th Century Neoclassical pair of brass and marble table lamps with shades are originally crafted as candlesticks in the late 19th century and thoughtfully converted to electric light in the mid-20th century. The marble pilar column rises from a raised round circular base and is topped with a raised bobeche.  Details of fine chasing work are found throughout.  Lamps are paired with matching off white shades and finials. 
 
Condition: Cups are surmounted by newer polished brass findings extending the lamps’ height.  Candlestick lamps are in good working condition.  Thread wear is noticed.  The lamps remain undrilled for easy reconversion to candlesticks. Wear consistent with age and use.
