19th Century New England Hand Painted Wooden Headboard
 
This beautiful and colorful (twin sized) Baroque style cut out wooden headboard is hand painted. It is a New England piece of cottage furniture. A frigate in a cartouche relates to the maritime geography. It is of solid pine wood construction and shows great age patina on the front and reverse.
 
Condition: Good. Wear due to age and use. One small tip of cut out is missing.
