19th Century Period French Confit Pot.

 

This rustic French terracotta confit pot is earthenware pottery from the 19th century. A fine example and well loved piece of good proportions with strong yellow glaze color. A traditional vessel originally created to conserve food and a staple of French provincial style kitchens and farmhouse décor well appreciated today.

 

Condition: Wear consistent with age and use. Some chips related to wear. This item is rustic primitive antique condition. See photos.
