19th Century Venetian Hand Carved Veneered Partially Gilt Mirror
 
This is a Venetian hall mirror of the early 19th century. The frame has tiger maple veneered half circular columns which ended in corner squares with carved and gilded rosettes. The inner and outer beaded carved border is gessoed and gilded. The mirror plate is original to the frame and has some age marks. A untouched wood backing shows the integrity of the piece. 
 
There is a small piece of veneer missing otherwise the condition is very good.
