20th Century French Fauvist Large Scale Still Life Painting
 
Brilliant Fauvist still life acrylic painting on canvas in vibrant colors and bold brushwork. Fauvism was the first real avant-garde modern art movement of the 20th century. Paint laid on thick, colors popping of the canvas and unnatural hues brought the characteristics to life. Spearheading the movement are artists such as Matisse, Kokoschka, Klee and Beckmann, among others.
