Antique 19th Century French Bouillotte Bronze Table Lamp
 
The design of this Napoleon III bouillotte desk lamp rivals the ancient works of
Rome and Greece. Four patinated urn-shaped candle cups are mounted on a bronze base. A relief band with a Vitruvian wave is very prominent and decorative. 
The base is raised on four solid bronze lion paw feet. An adjustable rectangular green finished tole shade is secured with an arrow design screw and topped with a lyre finial. The lamp is in original condition with fine details throughout.
Good antique condition. Original wiring is not tested.
