This mirror has an artistically carved and parcel gilt wood frame. The polychrome hand painted flower decorations are set in the original Venetian moss green background. The frame, with its elegant proportions, has ornate overall scrolling gilded acanthus leaves. It is crowned with a beautiful crest. This mirror in the 18th century style represents Venice at its best. 
 
The condition is good with age related wear.
