Antique American Empire Serpentine Mahogany Footstool Ottoman 
 
19th century American Victorian Empire box seat footed ottoman.  This square serpentine footstool features a bold mahogany wood veneer.  The base has a distinctive ogee molded (S-shaped curve) form resting on bracket feet. It is equipped with small revolving castor wheels created for mobility in all directions. The stool is upholstered with a red textured fabric.
 
Condition: Good condition.  Small veneer cracks are noticed.  Wear due to age and use.  Two very small wood embellishments are missing in the repeated cut out pattern of the bracket feet.  Please see photos.
