This antique panel is carved from one piece of wood.  Features blooming chrysanthemums among foliage and a perched bird in the upper right corner. The intricate gilt pierced carving is created in deep relief with fine incised details.  A quality hand carved element showcasing the skill and beauty of the Chinese aesthetic of the 19th Century.
 
Ideal gift.  Very Good condition.  Wear due to age and handling. Circa 1920s.
