Antique French Louis XVI Style Gueridon by Henry Dasson. 

 

Sophisticated 19th century ormolu and Mahogany Gueridon after Adam Weisweiler (1750-1810). The Gueridon, fashioned in the Louis XVI style, is inset with an ormolu framed black marble top. Three sets of ormolu twin columns in bamboo design are mounted on a tripod wooden stretcher and end with three ormolu sabots. This Gueridon is made by Henry Dasson (1825-1896) after an 18th century model by Adam Weisweiler. Examples of these tables can be found in Versailles in the Salon of Madame du Barry. The condition is good. Wear commensurate with age and use.
