Antique Pair of French Louis XV Style Ormolu Twin Light  Wall Sconces After Pierre Gouthiere.
 
This outstanding pair of 19th century French ormolu wall sconces were created after a model by Pierre Gouthiere, a French metal worker of unsurpassed craftsmanship. Each one is casted in fine crisp fire gilded bronze with ribbon-tied flowering branches and tassels suspended by a long ribbon. Delicate and colorful porcelain flowers embellish and elevate these beautiful wall lights to the highest level.

Condition is good commensurate with age and wear. The sconces are fitted to be wired.
