Antique Victorian English Mother-of-Pearl inlaid Rosewood Box.
An elegant 19th-century English Regency rosewood box, decorated with mother-of-pearl scrolling foliate inlay. This finely crafted antique box exemplifies the sophistication of the Regency era. The hinged lid opens to reveal a storage compartment lined in a rose pink textile. A refined and collectible decorative object, ideal for hideaway items, jewelry and as a display piece. No key. Dates to late 19th Century. Condition is fair. Veneer loss on both sides. One small piece mother of pearl inlay is missing. Veneer cracks to top of box. Minor surface wear is noticed.
