Carved Silver Gold Giltwood Italian Rococo Style Barometer.
 
Ornately carved vintage giltwood silver-gold gilded Rococo style barometer with thermometer. Carved with fine detail in deep relief. The column form is fitted with thermometer and is supported by generous scrolling rocaille design. The Italian case is circa 1950s and created with a square face and fitted with a barometer.  Attached label on back directs, “How to set a barometer” with sea level indications. 
 
The condition is good/very good.  Wear due to age and use. No losses. Gilt is strong.  Working condition is unknown.
