Early 19th Century American Empire Mahogany and Gilt Ogee Wall Mirror.
 
American Empire Period mahogany wood and gilt ogee wall mirror.  The early 19th century mirror is in untouched condition having retained its original glass and wood backing. A richly patinated and vibrant Ogee mahogany veneer frame with lemon gilt decoration borders.  The condition is good. Wear due age and use. The mahogany ogee mirror is one of the first examples of domestic furniture made in North America.
