English George III Mahogany Brass Bound Cellarette on Stand.
 
A classic oval mahogany wine cooler with two original solid brass bands. It has an inner removable copper liner. Both ends have mounted brass lion head pulls with rings. The cellarette is raised on four square tapering legs. The wood finish is an aged, rich gold brown color. This is an example of fine English craftsmanship. Underneath, the wine cooler bears a branding seal of a London retailer.
 
Condition is good considering age and wear. There are two small wood reinforcements on the legs. Some small veneer repairs.
