English Victorian Style Chinoiserie Bamboo Canterbury Magazine Holder
 
English bamboo canterbury or magazine stand made in the chinoiserie revival taste of the early 20th century. An original piece with three graduated tiers create two compartments. Triangular black lacquer rush panels are hand painted with chinoiserie floral motives. The magazine holder stands on four slightly splayed bamboo legs.
Condition is very good.
