Fine Pair of Meiji Period Chinese Export Rose Medallion Porcelain Candlesticks.
A pair of Chinese Export Famille Rose Medallion porcelain candlesticks.  This matching pair features a rare and highly desirable bell-shaped or double-gourd architectural silhouette, terminating in a wide bobeche drip pan with an integrated porcelain candle cup.
Each candlestick is meticulously hand-painted with the classic Rose Medallion pattern, alternating panels of genre scenes with reserves of pink peonies, flora, and butterflies. The scenes are framed by dense, green foliage borders, scrolling patterns, and fine gilded highlights.  An estate-provenance inventory sticker is intact on each base. 
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Minimal wear consistent with age and light use. No major chips, cracks, or structural restorations observed.
