French 19th Century Napoleon III Sevres Style Porcelain Vase
 
Beautiful lidded Sevres style vase with ormolu mounts in the manner of the famous French porcelain manufactory. Elegant and slender baluster form. The domed lid has a pineapple finial. The body of the vase is painted with a charming rococo style scene and a landscape around the reverse. Neck and base are colored in a rich cobalt blue with intricate raised gilt decoration. Exquisite and impressive artistic decorative piece. 
Condition is good commensurate with age and wear. Lid is regilded.
Gold decorations are touched up. Bronze base has a drilled hole.
