Distinguished by an ivory background, a floral medallion, defined by sinuous Rococo scrolls with elegant ornamentation of flowers, floats majestically on this classical French Aubusson. Hand woven by great tapestry artists in a very delicate pastel color palette, it invokes the images of the palace of Versailles. A beautifully hand-woven example, this antique French Aubusson rug has all the hallmarks of French nobility.
