Huge Vintage Pueblo Native American Double-Sided Drum
 
This extra large drum is hand made by the Cochiti Pueblo people, a native tribe of New Mexico. It is exquisitely crafted from a hollowed single log of the cottonwood tree. The rawhide is carefully, tightly stretched over the top and bottom and is held in place with criss crossed lacing. It has its own unique irregular shape, just as it came from the tree. The drum is both a usable instrument, with a rich sound, and a beautiful collectible.
