Indian Hindu Bronze Sculpture of Khandoba 17th/18th Century

 

The bronze figure on horseback represents the most popular

Hindu deity Khandoba, an avatar of Shiva. He is the patron deity

of warriors. The small but magnificent sculpture is cast in bronze

by skilled artisans from Maharashtra India, using the centuries old

lost wax method.

Good antique condition with slight oxidation to the bronze.
