Large Rare Hollywood Regency Hand Carved Wood Silver Gilded Grapevine Mirror.
 
Picturesque square shaped mirror with lavish framework. The Hollywood Regency mirror with hand carved openwork grapevine motifs and faux-bois branches, is stately and magnificent. It is a genuine piece of fine design and craftsmanship from the Hollywood Regency period. The twigs and grapevines are gold and silver leafed. The carving is crowned with a radiating flower. Encased within this elaborated frame is a clear beveled mirror plate. The frame corners are strengthened with butterflies. 
 
Condition is good, commensurate with age and use.
