Large-sized redware figure of a ram with unknown origin. Mid-century, hand modeled ram with hollow body. Heavy applied spaghetti wool, applied tail and curled horns. Monogram and date incised underneath. The rams surface is covered in a brown, yellow and green glazed slip. Exceptional size and form. Although the origin is unknown, this figure does resemble, in some aspects, a type of Pennsylvania redware. 
 
The very end of one ear has an old repair.
