Large Vintage Mediterranean Majolica Two Handled Urn.
 
This fabulous vintage bulbous urn is hand decorated with yellow Renaissance Medici style motifs against a dark blue background. Two c-scroll handles are ornate with hand painted acanthus leaf designs ending in grotesque faces. Floral decorations and rocaille frames a medallion crest on each side The urn was made in Spain around the mid-century. It is signed, illegibly.  This colorful majolica urn is of highest  quality and aesthetic excellence.
 
Condition: The urn presents well and is in good condition. Old repair to one handle.
