Late 18th Century Carved and Polychrome Italian Santo Statue.
 
Antique Italian hand carved wood Santos of Saint John. This exceptional Baroque style figure of the late 18th century is beautifully decorated with polychrome paint. Minor paint chipping adds to the overall antique character of this sculpture. The piece maintains a strong aesthetic integrity and an attractive quality.
Condition is fair with some paint loss.  Fingers on the left hand and staff are missing.
