Louis XV Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Tulipwood Marquetry Bombe Commode, Late 19th Century
 
Elegant French two drawer marquetry commode. The rectangular pastel marble top sits above two drawers. The commode is veneered with floral marquetry. The hipped legs are topped by ormolu bronze putti. The drawers are fitted with gilt bronze foliate scrolled handles, escutcheon and sabots on the legs.
 
Condition: Good antique state. Marble top has two repaired pits and minor chip on the edge. The feet have some repair. (see photos)
