Master Salt Cellar Sterling Silver and Brilliant Cut Crystal Swan, Embossed and Pierced, Circa 1940
 
This piece has beautifully embossed sterling silver that brings out many details of the swan.  The wings are additionally pierced and moveable to cover and reveal the salt.  The lead crystal salt is brilliant cut on all sides and features a sunburst at bottom.  This is a very heavy little piece.  A glorious addition to table and glowing ornamental element.
