Mid-Century Italian Neoclassical Giltwood Wall Clock by Palladio.
A beautifully crafted mid-20th-century Italian Neoclassical style cartel wall clock frame, hand-carved and finished in an elegant gold leaf gilding. Produced by the renowned Florentine manufacturer Palladio, this striking piece features classic architectural and organic motifs, including a prominent ribbon bow top crest and scrolling acanthus leaves framing a circular dial. The reverse of the clock preserves the authentic plum-colored manufacturer's paper label reading "Palladio / Made in Italy". To ensure effortless modern timekeeping, the internal movement has been updated with a reliable battery-operated quartz mechanism. 
Condition: Very Good Vintage Condition. Consistent with age and use. Updated quartz battery mechanism is fully operational.
