Modern Abstract Patinated Bronze Sculpture attrib. Jane DeDecker
 
Original bronze sculpture depicts a nun, wearing a winged cornette, surrounded by school children. The group is highly artistic, created  in  modern abstract style with room for
interpretation. This unique piece of art was attributed by the estate to be a work of Jane DeDecker. It is masterfully modeled and casted. Jane DeDecker, born 1961, is a sculptor from Iowa. She specializes in bronze sculptures and her pieces often feature family groups or children.
Condition is very good.
