Vintage Hopi Pueblo Clown Kachina mask made from cottonwood. It is painted with pigments in black and white shades, with added hair and plant fringes. The rare mask was created around the mid-century by Duane O’Hagan, Taos, New Mexico. He based the mask on an antique kachina at the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona.
Condition is good commensurate with age and use.
