Pair French Louis XV Pouffe Os de Mouton Ottoman Tabouret 17th Century
 
Antique matched pair of 17th century French Baroque wood carved tabourets. The base was typically used for chair frames. The original ottoman was taken down to the frame and newly, professionally upholstered. The elegant tabourets are raised on four Os de Mouton hand carved walnut legs with scrolled feet joined by an H-shaped stretcher. They are structurally strong and sound. Condition is very good. Newly upholstered. Wear commensurate with age and use.
