Pair of 19th Century French Bronze Urns After Clodion
Superb pair of French classical bronze open urns. These heavy urns are patinated and casted in exceptional quality. The body is adorned with frolicking putti with stylized satyr handles. The bacchanalian frieze is styled after Clodion (1738-1814). These are important Grand Tour pieces from the Napoleon III period.
