Pair of English Chippendale Mahogany Side Chairs, Circa 1890.
 
Outstanding pair of marvelous carved mahogany side chairs in classic Chippendale style. They are crafted after one of the greatest English furniture makers. A shaped top rail above the pierced carved back splat has Rococo scrollwork and carved decorated square legged base that displays incredible workmanship. Both chairs have a drop in cushioned seat with newly covered, high quality, fabric. 
The condition is good. Wear due to age and use. The sturdy chairs are rich in color and patination. Missing one small corner (pictured).
