Pair of English Giltwood Wall Brackets
 
Pair of English George II style architectural corbel wall brackets with rectangular top over relief decoration ending in a scrolled volute. They are carved in solid wood, hand finished in gesso with red base color and gold leaf. Sculptural craftsmanship displays distinctive decorative statements in English interior history. Condition is good, wear commensurate with age and use. Patination to gilding.
